Mazda 3 2.0l and 2.3l difference?

Hey guys,

Im feeling a little doubtful that im getting the mazda 3 Maxx Sport (auto) 2005 model rather than a Sp23 ( 2.3l engine).

But then i look at the specs and i see that the 2.3l only has a 10kw difference in power?

Would it be worth going out and spending another 2-3k for the 2.3l? is it really worth it? should i be so worried ?

The price of the 2.3l is about the same as the auto 2.0l, but but my parents wont let me drive a manual :p as my dads buying it for me..

nonetheless should i be worried about not getting the 2.3l ???? with turbo how much off a difference will the 2.3l have on the 2.0?

thanks for any help =)

I would ALWAYS spend the little extra coin for the bigger motor. You can bet the aftermarket will support it more.

its definitely worth the extra money to get the 2.3 IMO because, as Roddimus said, aftermarket parts will be more abundant for the 2.3 than the 2.0

2.3L VVT is more dependable. Its also used on the SVT Ford Focus. Also if you are planning to replace the stock wheels with bigger after market wheels, the 2.3 will be able to handle the stress more than likely than the 2.0
