Ok let me ask you a easy question. What happens to your cars MPG when you run the air conditioner?

What little parasitic load on the engine does not cause any difference in my mpg. However, people say I drive like a granny.
Reducing resistance on the intake is making more HP because the engine is working easer to get the same amount of air. The engine has better MPG aswell, might be minamal, But just like the shutting of the air conditioning the high flow air filter gives more power and better gas milage. Pretty simple, you said it yourself. |

Exactly the stock paper air filter is a"parasitic load" or resistance compared to a high flow filter. The air conditioning is reducing HP also reducing MPG acting as resistance or "parasitic load".
