Funny fix but it works
 

I know this is widely known and rather amusing fix. Guys keep pantyhose in your glove box. Yes it sounds funny but i have always cuz my dad always told me to cuz u will need it whenever your belt breaks or what not. Well recently my girlfriends hyundai (Hisssss) santa fe's belt broke, mainly cuz of the freekishly hot temperatures we have been getting lately (107 degrees) she called me cuz no one else in her family knows a lick about cars. so i go to her car, found the problem and got the good ole pantyhose, with the very odd looks she gave me, and ran it through and tied it nice and tight. problem solved for now. no remember this isnt a permanent fix it wont replace a belt but it can work as one for the time being until u get u a real replacement. I know this is common knowledge but it makes a good topic and tip for people who dont. :bt:

Having a pair of pantyhose in the glove box also comes in handy at those times you really need some money but you don't have an account at a bank...or money, for that matter.

lol im sorry i dont have any pics of this incident, she went to the hyundai place and got it replaced (it was under warrenty) they thot she was a genious or something (i told her to tell them it was her idea) lol funny stuff
