Cherrybomb glasspack for mazda 3?
 

Hey guys, I have a sunlight silver 04 mazda3 hatchback, obviously w/ the 2.3L engine. I really want to get a deep, aggressive tone, but I don't know where to start. I'd love to just get the MS3 catback exhaust but I don't have the $500+ to drop for it :tear: I've thought about getting a "fart can" muffler (I like the sound of them as long as they aint on a real POS) but I really don't wanna be called a ricer.

Any suggestions for a good muffler or anything that is CHEAP and can be installed easily? I'm a college student w/ a low paying job who is obsessed with his car.

A guy told me one thing to do is to get a high flow catalytic converter but I don't know where to start? I also thought about getting a CherryBomb glasspack or maybe their new Vortex muffler.

If anybody could give me some advice/tips/ideas on a good muffler, cat, muffler/cat combo, or anything they would be greatly appreciated :wave:

i got a friend at midas, he got me a high flow cat for $70. and i bought a nice stainless steel muffler w/ 4" tip off ebay for $7. i think it was like 20 for shipping. it sounds real low and good.

what kind of muffler was it? was it a chambered muffler or was it one of the round free flowing mufflers you can see through?

also, Have you heard anything about mazda 3's having two cats?

its a stainless 2" in and 4" out see through muffler. my 04 mazda3 5dr does not have 2 cats, however it does have a resinator that looks like a cat but its hollow. it helps make the deep sound so i left it on.
