Angry 2007 GT Manual - Engine hesitating and sputtering with slow acceleration

So got the MAF error code P0102 - cleaned the old MAF issue is there. Changed to a new refurbished MAF same issue. So this is more than the MAF.

Care hesitates and sputters forwards only in slow acceleration under 3k RPM. If I floor it and drive it fast, it's fine. The power is there when i really step on it, so that rules out a clutch slip...or I could be wrong.

So in slow traffic it kinda sputters forward sometimes and a few times almost died on me and a few times it stalled.

Recent work done was the thermostat which came up with a separate error code, cabin air filter and cleaned the Takeda CAI filter (I made sure it dried over a couple of days), and an oil change. When I did the dreaded cabin air filter, I was pretty sure all the all the fuse panel clips were put in place and locked down as they only go in one way.

Finally took it to the garage again. I can't be trying to make a left turn and have it sputter on power and maybe get in an accident.

Anyone seen this before?
