2006 mazda 3 2.0 AT no movement in drive or reverse but dash numbers climb to 3
 

when car is put in drive/reverse no movement at all. soon as its in drive its in gear 1, 2 seconds later gear 2, rev up motor itl climb to 4 let off it falls to 2. Acts like it shifting but nothing, not a jerk vibration nothing, free wheeling. Transmission trash? or can it be fixed?
