wiring of door sills

i just bought some door sills that light up when the door opens. Does anyone know exactly how to wire these things together. Is it to the fuse box directly? I am not sure what i am doing? Please help.

i have some door sills and installed them a while back and its pretty simple, i followed this guy's instructions....
