Where is the Trip Odometer Reset Button?

I just replaced my totaled 2001 Sentra SE with a 2004 Mazda 3 S hatchback that didn't come with an owners manual. I cant find a reset button for the trip odometer anywhere...

Bought an owners manual on ebay which has an extensive description of how the two trip odometers work but not a single reference to where the reset switch is at.

Where is this fabled reset button?

Every other vehicle I have owned had the skinny plastic button poking through the glass or plastic cover over the gauges and right next to the trip odometer. I have looked all over the dash, center console and even the steering wheel controls.... Nothing found so far.

Previous owner has modified some of the interior with By Design faux carbon fiber overlays but can't imagine he would have covered up the reset button. Thanks and please excuse my rambling. I do that when I get frustrated LOL

Above the instrument cluster between the speedometer, and the right hand side (where the fuel/temp gauges are) there's a little black knob/stick/button. Pushing it toggles between the odometer, and trip 1/2. Pushing and holding it on either trip will reset it.

Depending on where you sit/where the steering wheel is set the upper portion may be completely obscuring the button from your view

Thanks so much for the reply. I did find it a week later when replacing the stereo. Turns out the steering wheel rim COMPLETELY blocked my view of it.

Then my engine decided a rod needed to come loose. Mechanic said a rebuild engine would be cheaper than having it repaired but recommended walking way from it. Problem is I can't afford any of those options and have invested way too much time, money and effort into this one after buying it.
