Im with Anson, im not liking the 3 so far. It sort of reminds me of the Matrix... :(

Where is the 3 built? How is the build quality?

OMFG are u serious? The Matrix rides like crap compared to the 3. Not to totally dogg it, I did like the 6 speed. It looks too tall, like a speeding bubble gone wrong.

My 3 reminds me how my Jetta was built. Things are very tight. The integration of every part on the car looks like it belongs there. Except that little "carbon-fiber" knockoff. lmao

Out of all places...

Hiroshima Japan

This is a very good thing IMO. I'm not sure if it's out of the same factory as where the Miata's are built, but if it is, it bodes well for the construction quality of the 3.

I have to agree with you on the Matrix comparison. I actually don't hate the 3's hatch look, just like I don't hate the Matrix look. In fact it's grown on me just a bit (my initial reaction was uggghh!). Still, the looks are what would prevent me from getting the hatch. I find the sedan to be much more pleasing to look at. If we don't need the extra cargo space, we're considering getting the 3 sedan.

Anywhere in Japan is good! One of the main reasons I bought my Protege5 is the fact it was made in Japan. My first car was a Toyota Cressida, built like a rock. It was 9 yrs old when I bought it, and it lasted me about 3 yrs before I bought a new car. The next car was a Grand Am. WHAT A POS!!! After that, I went back to imports... :D

My meaning of "out of all places" was just meant when we bombed them lol

Yea but it is good its all in Japan
