I'll agree in spirit, but it depends on how you use the car. I found #2 and #4 complaints quite strained, with the rest being irrelevant to me. I literally had to go get in the car to see what the whole #4 key thing was all about. Pushing the button to remove the key became completely automatic so long ago that it had left my consciousness entirely. I cannot imagine letting something so trivial negate an MS3 purchase by itself.

The seats -- well, I'm the only one who drives the car, so the driver's side has not been moved at all since the first couple thousand miles -- roughly 75,000 miles ago. Power seats are just something to quit working in case I might actually want to move the seat sometime in the next 200,000 miles or give the car to one of my kids.

My last car had a sunroof. I did use it for a while, then I more or less forgot it was there for about 4 or 5 years until I used it again some in the last year I had the car.

I don't even remember if my MS3 has a tilt/telescope wheel. If so, I must have set it where I wanted it and forgot it over 2 years ago.

Frankly, I would not mind roll-up windows if they were well made. Saves weight, and it is one less thing to crap out if you tend to keep a car for as long as I do.

I want the sunroof/moonroof for more natural lighting. Of course you're going to "forget" you had one because you don't activate it or anything. I see lots of people close the sunshade in the winter on their moonroof which makes no sense. In the summer, opening the moonroof helps vent out hot air while driving, much faster than just the windows because it opens up a much needed space to "vacuum" out the hot air.

I once drove in a nasty rental car with dust and cigarette ashes. I opened all the windows and drove 70 MPH but nothing got sucked out. As soon as I cracked open the moonroof, it was like I blew a hole into the wall of a pressurized cabin - all the dust and junk started to get sucked out the side windows.

Seeing how Ford plans to release an Ecoboost 4-banger for all of its cars, this pretty much means that every small Ford car will get an available direct injected turbocharged 2.0-2.3L in the near future. The EcoBoost 6 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 that makes 365 hp. I bet the EcoBoost 4 will make at least 230 hp up to 270 hp, just like the MS3's 2.3 DISI (which appears to be the same fundamental design as the Ford Duratec 2.3 DOHC I4).

A C1-based 2011 Focus or B3-based 2011 Fiesta with an EcoBoost 4 would be a fun car to drive. Even the Mustang owners are getting excited about EcoBoost for the 2011 S197. I'm anxiously waiting for the 400 hp Coyote V8 to be released.

Very true, I use mine this way all the time. I'll usually even just leave the fronts closed (get more use out of the tint that way. ;)), open the moonroof and lower the back windows about 3". All the air goes in the back sides and out the moonroof which gets the car nice and cool but it isn't as loud or annoying as having air blow directly into my face from the fronts being open.

I get the whole structural integrity thing, but I like the moonroof feature. More than anything else, I like the natural light it adds.

metroplex, the specifications you require will make this car a higher category car maybe up there with BMW.

I prefer they give me a good solid car and I install the add-one that I like afterwards
