Stupid Stickers, removal?

Ok in the grand scheme of things this is not a big deal....but it annoys the heck out of me...

Anybody know of a way to remove those stupid warning stickers on the sun visors...

you can't. Since they are silkscreened onto the plastic.

Either get them recovered by a compitent upholstery shop, or find some aftermarket ones.

I'm starting to wonder if lacquer thinner or perhaps some Castrol Super Clean will take it off...maybe I'll test this with a small section when I get home.

Mek

A friend of mine used to do custom silkscreen artwork on the backs of leather jackets. If he needed to remove an existing paint job off of a jacket, he used a product that you can find cheaply at most hardware/paint stores called MEK (Methyl Ethyl Keytone). I'm sure you would want to try a small test patch first, but I was amazed at how it can make stuff vanish from the surface without discoloring the leather. I don't know how it would work with plastic though.
