I have a 2016 Mazda 3 and Just ordered a new Dual Catback muffler system on Amazon it only cost me $223.00 for a better sound I was wondering if this will get me more horse power this is the first time I found a better sounding muffler system for under $600.00 I am excited to see how it will sound. I also wonder if this muffler will affect my ability to pass a TX DMV Vehicle inspection I was going to get me a cold air induction air filter but I heard that it could get me a check engine light because it would eliminate the sensor on the OEM air filter as would changing the programing of the air fuel mixture to add some horse power. I would like to know if there is any truth to the negative effects of modifying my car for speed and a better sound I hoping that my muffler mod will increase the sound to moderate not loud.
