Well, my last post was 2/12 so here's an update. In a nutshell...FLAWLESS! I am amazed at the fuel mileage and build quality of my 2012 hatchback Skyactiv automatic. I have had no issues to speak of, warranty ecm reprogram, funny headlight pulsing when brakes are applied, sometimes sluggish transmission response, I tend to look at these kind of problems as quirky personality disorders more than real issues. Mileage is 38.1 on the onboard computer, and when I use a calculator, actual mileage is always higher. My last fill up figured at 41.07 average. I have had no issues with rattles, failures, leaks, or drivability. I'm not real happy with the Michelin tires I have now but that's another story. The key to getting the most out of this car is to drive with a steady foot, synthetics, clean filters, proper air in tires, and good mid grade fuel. I have never averaged below 35 mpg and since that is the reason I traded in my Silverado 2500hd 4x4, I am very happy with my choice, and will let you know how the next 36,000 goes.
