Sirius Radio installation
 

I am thinking about getting Sirius Radio installed im my Mazda 3. It is supposedly already setup to get satellite radio and was wondering if I still need to get a receiver or will it just use the OEM unit?

I was thinking about puting it in as well. So i did a little research and found This website. It seems a bit pricy, but you could probably find some where cheaper. And if you can do the install your self you can save a bunch more money. It is really simple to take a part the car too. I did a audio system install and to take apart the dash and the entire passenger side of the car took about 20 mins and 6 screws. The rest of the parts either snap in or have little snap screws that pop right out. It is really simple and you really dont have to worry about breaking any thing. On older cars the snap clips were metal and clipped to the plastic pieces so they come off and break the plastic very easliy. On the 3 all the clips are molded in to the plastic pieces so they are very un-likely to break. Anyways here is a Factory install guide. It is given to the factory mechanics to do the install, it tells you where every screw, and clip is and even where to put the sticky tape that the factory would do to make it look "factory". Why pay for it, when it is so easy to do it your self.
