Rubber Cargo Liner and Net compatible with each other?

Looking to pick up some accessories for my wife's 2012 s Grand Touring hatchback.

Are the cargo net and rubber cargo tray compatible?

Also has anyone done the compass/autodim mirror on a 2012 yet? I thought it came with the tech package since you couldn't order it with it selected.

Also are there any better cargo liner products? Weathertech looks about the same, but is about 2x the price.

I highly recommend buying both the rubber cargo liner and the net. Although my car is a 2004 Mazda 3 Sport, I doubt that either the cargo liner or net have changed much since then.

I bought the cargo liner when I bought the car new in 2004. It proved its worth when I put several bottles of barbeque starter fluid in the back of the car and one of them fell over and leaked. The cargo liner prevented the barbeque starter fluid from messing up the cargo floor. Unfortunately the cargo mat warped where it came into contact with the barbeque starter fluid. But it’s still serviceable.

Which brings me to the cargo net. I should have had the cargo net from the beginning. If I had, maybe the barbeque starter fluid bottles wouldn’t have fallen over. After many years of having things slide around like crazy when taking corners (especially if you enjoy driving fast), the cargo net proves itself indispensible in keeping things in place. I wished I had bought it from day 1.

They're compatible, at least in the 1st gen Mazda 3. Note that the cargo net packaging may state that it's for a Mazda Tribute, but the net fits the 3 as well.
