Rim/wheel paint color code to touch-up scuffs/small scratches
Hi,
I know this question it’s been around somewhere, but so far I couldn’t find the answer. I have a small scuff/scratch in one of my rim (stock Mazda 3 aluminum wheel, NOT chrome) and I’m going to try to fix it myself thanks to the post of one Axela member: (http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/w...uff-repair.htm). Does somebody know the paint color code/description to touch-up the rim? The BMW link actually uses a silver paint but this is, of course, only for the BMW (I think). I went to the Mazda dealer and also their body shop but they couldn’t tell me or find out this. Thanks! |
I think it is the same as the sunlit silver My car is that color and the rims match the paint perfectly.

yeah i think so too anyways just go to goole and search.

Thanks miles.
I'll try to find a touch-up 'sunsilver' color paint spray somewhere and test it. |
yeah test it in the store or go to the autoparts store and ask them they'll tell you hat color is it
|
Thanks M3,
I went to a couple of body shop (specialized in Mazda) and auto-stores but they couldn't tell me for certain. Just I have to buy and try. I'll go to others and continue asking. If I find the right on (sunsilver or else) I'll post it here so others can benefit. |
thanks men thats very nice of you also call the dealer they maybe able to tell you
