Remote wire for Amp Installation

2006 Mazda 3s 5 door. I'm installing a sub, cap, and amp (mono) and using a line output converter to convert speaker level signal to RCA for the amp.

I pulled signal from the LR speaker via the wiring harness in the lower B pillar, but I'm a little stumped on where to get my remote (switched accessory 12V power) to run to my cap and amp. I do not want to remove the head unit if I don't have to.

Are there any wires behind the front passenger kick panel or somewhere other than behind the dash that I can use?

Pink and yellow wire located on the ignition harness on the steering colum

Thanks, but I was looking for something that didn't require much disassembly. The passenger kick panel hides a rat's nest of wires, including the speaker wires, so I was hoping someone had some luck pulling a remote signal from there. If I have to pull the head unit and get one from the back, could someone post a link to a tutorial? Thanks.

try using stickin it in one of the fuses that come on when you turn on your car from your fuse box thats what im using!!!

I normally would, but the fuse box is under the hood and uses mini-ATC fuses which I haven't yet found taps for.

I got the power for my MP3 changer from the back of the lighter
2 reasons why i did it that way:

1. Everything was already removed(including the radio) since I was installing a sub and mp3 changer
2. Lighter gets power when the radio does

Okay, so what I'm getting is that the only way to get what I'm looking for is to pull the head unit and tap off the illumination lead. If anyone knows of another wire, preferably in the passenger kick panel or the harness that runs alongside the front passenger seat, please let me know. Thanks!
