radio issue
 

I know there are a lot of threads out there surrounding the "Mazda known" bass cutting out issue with the 08 (Jan-Mar) head units...my issue/VIN doesn't fall into that bucket.

Its not my bass that's cutting out so much as just the overall speaker. And its doing it at all volume levels. Its not that the speaker is completely cutting out, but its dropping some tones/sound erratically throughout a song. The odd thing is that it is really only doing it on the radio...the MP3 portion of the unit seems to work fine. I originally thought it might be a reception issue...but all the signal strengths are strong. It also seems to be more noticeable on rock vs. something bass heavy like pop. Any thoughts?

Took it to the dealer, and of course, could not replicate.
