Rack and Pinion the same for sedan and hatchback?
 

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have a 2007 Mazda 3 2.3L hatchback not turbo and I need a new rack and pinion or re-manufactured one. The question is this, will one for a sedan work as well for me and the different range of years like 2006-2009? Also how difficult is it to replace this unit? Or is it better to get a mechanic to do it? Thanks for the help!
