Question about headlight assembly fitment
 

hey forum, i'm Eris! i'm new here, so please be gentle with me :D

i'm the fairly new owner of an '04 Mazda3 hatchback, had for about a year (LOVE it!) and i'm starting to think about replacing the headlights because they have seen better days.

i've done alot of shopping on ebay in the past and its never done me wrong, so that's been my first stop to look at the lights. i noticed that a lot of the listings for the lights say that they are for the sedan only or the hatchback only. is there actually a difference? until i started shopping, i believed the lights to be exactly the same regardless of body style. please correct me if i'm wrong!

also, since we're on the subject, if you guys know of any better places to get a good price on parts i'd love the tip

hatches and sedans have different headlight assemblies. so if you have a hatch then only look for hatch headlights.
