picked up my mazdaspeed 3

:bt:
got her yesterday and wow is all i can say
never driven anything like it. came from an 87 corolla with i'd guess 80-90 hp at the point i was driving to a 98 corolla 120hp to a mazda 3 with 160hp (which i thought was kick ass at first) to this
i cant even get a good run with her yet, too much traffic in all the normal straight roads i take. other wise i run out of speed limit real quick
on the interstate i'm passing and accelerating with ease in 6th gear hitting 100mph without even really trying or meaning to. its just that easy
i am gonna get so many tickets... and i dont normally, but its just that fast. and so easy

congrats on the pruchase man. I'm enjoying my MS6 also. Whatever you do DONT GET THE POWER REFLASH. It made mine slower in the bottom end and much less responsive. The trade off is a little more top end....not worth it IMO. I spend all of my time at 2000-4000 anyway so I don't care if it lags above 5500.

Nice, I just got mine today.
I haven't got to really drive it either. Traffic was a bitch today.
Can't wait to actually feel the power.
Been having a bit of a problem with the clutch though. I keep stalling it when putting it in first.

Any tips?

i found myself giving it more gas than i did in my 3 when starting in 1st, clutch is amazing compared to stock 3. this is the only other stick i've driven on a regular basis... it engages so quickly and holds all that power nicely. another thing ive noticed is that its harder to stall/easier to keep engine running...
i.e. i live in a house on a hill, driveway is steep and i have to get out to open the garage (no opener on the garage door i use) and i've kissed 100-200 rpm plenty of times but not stalled it. pretty sure if it was my regular 3, it'd have stalled. thinking direct injection helps or i'm just lucky?
