Parts and years match?

hello everyone and thank you for having me. Quick story. My sons 3 was hit in the rear drivers side. I suspect it will be totaled. Don’t know yet. However, it is completed uninjured in the powertrain and driveline. I am thinking of buying it back from the insurance and repairing it. With that said, it is an 08 sport hatchback. What I will need is both passenger doors, the rear hatch, the rear bumper, and the drivers rear light. Would other years match it? I looked at parts on line and see there are several different part numbers for different year models. Got me concerned for fit and finish. Not really concerned about curve changes or anything else. Please advise. I know some of you are true gurus with this car!

Any 04-09 hatchback and you're golden. I'd definitely have the frame checked out before spending the money though. If it's bent, it might be easier to just buy a different car.

Good luck, and glad your kid's OK!

Nothing wrong with the car. Insurance gave me 9k for it,minus1k buyback. It would just be a shame to sell it for salvage given how well I have maintained it. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with it. Under 100k, the list is long. My intent is to fix it as best I can then sell it to a friend or someone who knows someone who needs reliable transportation on the cheap. I will sell it for whatever it costs to put it back together. My labor will be free. It gives me something to do after work, teach my kid a few things also. One thing I noticed was it has dual exhaust and the rear bumper has factory cut outs in the rear bumper for this. Is there a specific rear bumper I need to look for?

The frame is not bent. The rear tire was not hit. Just cosmetic damage
