no mazdaspeed 3 for me :-(

well I went to the dealer the other night in NJ. saw a red GT edition I liked. sticker price was bout $24,700. total with taxes was bout $28,000. they ran my credit and with $3k down my monthly payments would be..............
$530 a month!!! my heart dropped:-(

Roddimus Prime April-10th-2007 07:26 AM

why are you paying sticker for a mazda? If you knew the trend of previous mazdaspeed vehicles you'd just hold out a feww months until they're rotting on the lot.

I got my $30K MS6 for $23,595 brand new.

Jackelope April-10th-2007 09:03 AM

^ what he said!

RotaryXperiment7 April-10th-2007 09:10 AM

awwwwwwww man how you guys manage those lower prices haha. I saw that $530 a month and walked out. he said he couldnt give me no discount:-(

do u pay around that monthly?

Jackelope April-10th-2007 12:13 PM

do you have good credit?

got to www.mazdausa.com - play around w/ the payment estimator

RotaryXperiment7 April-10th-2007 01:19 PM

I guess I dont if my payments were so high lol.
my interest was bout 12%

macdaddyslomo April-10th-2007 02:44 PM

little high for a new car, but not that bad a rate for Mazda....they arent known for giving great interest rates........if they are willing to s-plan it, I'll be happy to get you a PIN#

Roddimus Prime April-10th-2007 02:45 PM

mine was in the 6.5% range iirc.

what do u mean?

RotaryXperiment7 April-10th-2007 08:33 PM

the salesmen told me mazda's interest starts at 9%. maybe just my particular one?

eggynatey April-10th-2007 08:51 PM

I got my P5 at 0% for 5 years! That ain't bad no matter how you slice it.

ivo April-10th-2007 10:40 PM

Mine is @ 5.25% for 5yrs through a local Credit Union. Lowest APR I found after quite a research.

Roddimus Prime April-10th-2007 10:41 PM

i leased the ms6. the p5 was in the 6% range. Our beetle was like 4.9% via our credit union.

I love the credit union for new car purchases.

eggynatey April-10th-2007 11:51 PM

I got a good deal because I bought my car like two months after 9/11/01.

Jackelope April-11th-2007 06:51 AM

IIRC, mine is 7.5% through local bank..

i used to have a PLC through them, 5k limit, it was great, could just call 'em up and get money... then my bank guy retired, lady that took over refused to "renew/extend" the plc... no more money when i wanted it :(

s-plan is employee discount, however the dealer is not obligated to honor it....ask them, and if they will, I will be happy to get you s-plan price on the car

RotaryXperiment7 April-11th-2007 02:15 PM
