hello to all i did not see a new members thread so i figured this would be the best place to start since the car is a 07 mazda 3 it has 17 miles it is phantom purple mica(not my first choice but looks pretty good and is growing on me fast) but anyways im taking delivery of this car on monday and was wanting to know......... i read on a mazda forum a while back that there is a way to put in a override to make it where you can get your average mpg and other things in the display i was wandering if anyone here knew how to do that cause i bought the base model 3i which does not have that.....anyways im in clyde nc. (near asheville) and ive got high hopes for my mazda hopefully it will be better than my focus ill post up picks soon :newbie:

Welcome, and congrats on the purchase! I think you'll definately like it more than a Focus.

I don't know the computer override code, but somebody here should be able to help you out :)

I know I've seen the guide, I'll see what I can do to scrounge it up :)

thank you very much that is one less option ill have to worry bout and the current mpg is on of the biggest things cause im only getting about 12-15 mpg on the focus with stock ecu and brand new caytalitic converter i cant explain it but it sucks so im getting out ot it finally and ive herd good things for the 3.... does anyone reccomend a cold air system??

oh no that sucks about the gas mileage with the focus! Yeah um the 3i gets ridiculous gas mileage last I checked, like 40mpg highway. For such a nice car, that's just such awesomeness :)
