New Member/New 2010 3 GT hatchback
:DHello Everyone,
Just bought a new Mazda3 GT yesterday (in chicago). Found one of the last ones with a stick in the region. First impression---nice little car. Its for my wife, she really likes it, found it from the Mazda site. I'll be doing most of the service work on it myself. I also own an 88 RX7 N/A, but that isn't a DD, strickly a toy. The new technology on these new engines is incredible!!!!! This 5-door is loaded with almost everything--the tech package is great. Came here looking for the latest greatest info and insight to these cars, hopefully contribute too as I learn more about them I currently drive a 2005 3/4 ton Dodge Ram 4wd 6 spd stick, 5.7--- so you understand why I say "little". Yesterday's initial drive for my re-introduced me to the japanese mush clutch compared to my Dodge---this will take a little getting used too---again. Just wanted to introduce myself and say Howdy First item of attention is to get the FSM for this thing--can anybody post a good link to a purchase site for this--I'm hoping to get a CD version of it---I looked on the Mazda site and didn't come across it-----uhggg. Any help would be greatly appreciated---Thanks in advance Ted---I'm on the RX7club forum too--just not active right now |
Hey, I am new here too, figure I would welcome you at least. I traded my 2006 RX8 for a 2011 5door sport. Nice car, has the roominess and torque that my RX8 did not.

Haha, thanks. The Miata's gone, sold for a 4-door since our kid's getting older. :(

finishlineperformance has a good factory manual, $130 I think. Though be warned it comes unbound, so get yourself a 3-pin tight holder for it.
I don't like the clutch either, no telling where the bite point is til the enging starts shaking from low RPM. |
