New antenna
 

I just got my first mod for my car a new antenna. I think It looks pretty sharp to go with my 2005 Black Mica 3.:)

we should powdercoat it black so it matches...I got one for my wife's car. Looks nice and is engraved "Mazdaspeed"....coated black.

How's it work?

As soon as it comes that's a great idea I ust have to find somewhere that will do that.:)

I got it this afternoon and it looks great even without being painted. I still will probably paint it though.

You can get that one and a lot of other ones on EBAY like I did. My wife and I both have them and they work fine, no lost of signal. I got ones that were about 5" long and have had it about 6 months now. Looks great on the car.

I like all three of them they have on that site you posted. I just got my 3 a few weeks ago and was talking about getting a new antenna, I thought they would be more expensive though. thanks.

I'm also thinking of getting a new antenna - a shorter/stubby one. But I'm wondering if it will affect radio reception.

Any thoughts?

I hope I have this right so far. I m a new member and not quite used to this type of site. Your aftermarket antena looks pretty sweet but I wonder about reception.

i think they said it got a very good reception just as the stock one

Correct I haven't had any noticeable problems with reception.
