Need to Remove Back Panel

First time poster here, but I don't know where else to go. I just had an epic fail moment. We moved into a house last year and one of the thing's that's been bugging me is that the garage door opener remote is extremely sensitive. We would sometimes barely touch it and it would double and triple press. I had a feeling it would bite me eventually. Sure enough, it did today. I was backing out of the garage with the remote in my hand, didn't feel myself pressing it at all, didn't hear the door closing, but BAM, the door came down on top of the car! 😭 The garage door's busted and needs to get replaced, but I was able to force it closed so it's not an immediate issue.

As for the car, it's a 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback, and the garage door got somewhat hooked on a back panel and pulled it up a bit. I don't know what it's called, but it's the small tail piece between the rear windshield and the roof that hides the windshield fluid dispenser. I can't seem to find instructions on how to pull it off, partly because I don't know what it's called (I'm not really a "car guy"). I found some pieces on the ground which appear to have fallen out as a result of the garage door coming out of nowhere and hitting me. I just want to get it back on, but it looks like at least one of those pieces is responsible for it not clicking back into place, so I think I need to remove it and get that piece back in first.

I will attach pictures. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
