Need help please!!! - diagnostics error codes
 

Have a Mazda 3 06- Error codes came up on a auto scan, as "CAM SENSOR" & another will post asap.... Warning lights on dash Power Steering & Check Engine are on all the time- what is the Cam Sensor ???? How do I get the lights to go off as it will no pass an inspection with these lights on : (

The cam sensor is in the engine, and controls the timing of many engine functions - this would turn on the check engine light. And i'd bet its not running well.
The steering wheel signals measure the steering wheel angle for the stability control system.

If you have the actual numbers of the codes (I.E. P0026), it helps more, since that's the 'official' way to look up the failed part or system.

So until having someone fix whatever happened to those sensors, there's no chance. Also, if you just go clear the codes and for whatever reason they don't come back on immediately - the inspection system will still fail the car since there was a recent clearing of all the codes.
