MP3 Player
 

I was just curious if anyone has the mp3 option. I am buying the car next month and dont like to carry my ipod around. Not to mention the wires etc. I would probably also not get the cassete option either. Can you get the mp3 option with the moonroof and 6 disc package?

I have the mp3 option. It is alright. I don't believe that the disc changer can be combined with the mp3 to make a mp3 changer. I am overall happy with the unit. The display is good. A few quirks I don't like, this might be me, but I'd like to be able to have my songs in folders and have random play across the folders, not just in the current folder. When I have random on, and hit next track, I want to go to another random track, not the next track and have random turned off. Finally, I don't want to the display to reset to the default (track number, track time) when I insert a different disk.

Bought my 3 hatch a couple of months ago. Dealer told me you had to get one OR the other; you couldn't combine the two. Never quite sure how much to believe from the dealer, but I went for the changer figuring I could always hard wire an MP3 player later (or pay someone else to do it...lol).

thanks for the reply folks! Great insight, Im sure its not just you... But I would take that over having to carry around the ipod charge battery cables all over the car etc..... They need to start putting HD in cars already!!!! :-)

Hey anyone have the link to that guy that put a pc in his mazda 3? I cant find it...
