TrueDelta updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times a year to track cars' reliability closely as they age.

Participants simply report repairs quarterly on a one-page survey. No repairs? Then the response is little more than an approximate odometer reading.

I'll share updated stats in this thread once we have them.

The more owners participate, the more precise the stats will be. To encourage participation, participants receive full access to all results for free.

We have updated our reliability stats for the Mazda3 and MazdaSpeed3 to include owner experiences through December 31, 2012.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2012 Mazda3: 9, low

2012 MS3: no repairs reported, but only 15 cars (especially need more of these!)

2011 Mazda3: 21, low
