Hopefully you don't have to take it to the dealer. They'll rob you of $100 to change it. Do you know if the Mazda 3 manual is out there yet?

Are you wanting to change out the whole assembly or just install new bulbs?:Kill1:

just the bulbs.........i already did it on an rx8 and went through the wheel well. was very easy, im guessing this is the way to do it on the 3 as well.

I suppose you could go through the wheel well but I just went up underneath the bumper and removed the splash guard and had quite easy access if I remember correctly. But it has been a while. I will know very shortly for sure though, as soon as my lights come in that is. One of my fog lamps went out so I will be replacing it very shortly.:uzi:

Hey folks....just wondering what the bulb type is for the P5 fog lights. One of mine just blew and I am going to have to replace the bulbs. Any info would be much appreciated.

its super easy just take the spash guard under the bumper off there is 3 or 4 screws there and just move it down and fog light is right there!

look in the owners manual (or the store book/computer lookup) for the type... you need the ones with black ends on the bulbs, that's the diff on the bulbs. and they changed the keying of the connector so you can't replace with the wrong type.
