Mazda 3 GT -- 2.3L, SportShift sedan with r/spoiler

1 month into ownership and luvin more as each day passes

Hmm, a spoiler, I haven't seen a spoiler on the 3 sedan yet. I haven't heard the "GT" nomenclature either.

In Canada, the 3 sedan is offered in three trim levels GX, GS, and GT.
There are two factory spoilers offered, a trunk mount and a raised spoiler. I got the raised on mine, very, very sharp!

Oh I see! Couldn't find a picture of the raised version at the Canadian Mazda site, but I saw the decklid one.

Got any pics of your car with spoiler, I would like to see what it looks like. I'm still waiting for my M3 GT sportshift sedan, on boat still....

I saw one with a spoiler at the Canadian auto show. It looked really nice but it is sooo expensive. On mazda.ca it says it's over $500 plus installation. That means it's probably like $700CDN to get it...too much money seeing as how you could get the whole GFX package for only a little bit more than that.

Passat Passions February-18th-2004 09:24 AM

Ya, in comparison to the GFX package ($1095CAD) the raised spoiler seems expensive. I paid $600 for mine installed, but considering this car saved me $6000 by not buying a new Jetta, it seemed insignificant and looks sweet. I have yet to take pics, but once I do, I'll post them.

I guess you could use an aftermarket spoiler which might cost less and look just as good. :D

I had my r/spoiler thrown in to the deal for my car. Looks real sharp with it, the vehicle is a head turner.
I am a mazda convert, wouldn't drive anything but a Hona until I saw my Black3

ready2race February-20th-2004 03:40 AM

How did you get that thrown in for the deal?
all I am getting is a cargo net!
