Keyless Remote Entry
 

I just purchased a 2008 Mazda 3i today and I have been searhing for a new Keyless Remote, however I do not have the original one and I am seeing where it says on the listing to make sure the numbers on the back of their keyless remote match yours. Unfortunately, I do not have the original as the car did not come with it. How would I find out which one mine matches? Thank you!!

Here's the part you need. Not sure on the FCC and visteon numbers, but this is the part

I wonder how you would find out the FCC and visteon number? It says for 2008 Mazda 3, but I'm skeptical about matching the numbers when I don't have the original remote to compare numbers to.

Well that remote is the OEM and works with at the very least '07-'09 models. I don't know if there was a KEU change in '10 with the 2nd gen model like there was in the '07 model.

As far as the visteon numbers there are generally several which will work with a given model so while it's good to know the number of one you know works it doesn't mean that a different number wouldn't. I know 41486, 41525, 41524 work on the '04-'06 models so those wouldn't work on your '08. Doesn't help nail down a specific number for you, but does rule out some.
