Intro and General Question

Greetings everyone! Ryan here from Toledo, OH. My daily driver is a 2014 Ford F250 super duty 6.2, pretty much the opposite of what everyone drives here.

So why am I here? I'm here because I was looking for an entry level SCCA/Club racing so I could race the 4cyl class as well. I got a steal on a 2006 Mazda 3 (5) speed 2.3L sedan. 120k miles, strong engine, strong transmission, new suspension and driven by an older lady. It needs a new grill and there are dents but obviously I don't care about that.

Which leads me to my question. How is the aftermarket performance parts market for these cars? I haven't found much. Recommendations on trusted companies/brands? I would like to change camshafts, ECU's or have it tuned, headers, intake, exhaust, and suspension.... maybe not the suspension right away since it's new, depending on stock performance.

Ported intake manifold/head would be done by me.

Thanks!
