Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Results
DETROIT: Kia Motors’ Spectra sedan got the lowest safety rating in a US insurance industry group’s crash tests designed to simulate frontal collisions.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which released the results on Sunday, rated the Kia vehicle “poor” for failing to protect the driver. In the tests, a vehicle is rammed into a deformable barrier at 40 miles per hour (65 kph). Mazda Motor’s Mazda 3 received the top rating and was the only “best pick” among the five small cars the group tested. :bt: That's great... but does this mean our insurance will go down now? from : http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/...how/965669.cms |
