Installing Stock/ Stock Looking Navi on Mazda 3..?

Hi there, i just got a mazda 3 GT 2009 hatchback, but unfortunately the dealers said that they couldnt find any with navi, which i really wanted. So now i have this car fully loaded minus the navi. Is there any place/website where i can get a stock or same functionality stock looking(not the ones that arent on the dashboard and retractable) navigation system that includes the retractable screen, the control panel, the gps unit (not really sure if the gps unit is seperate or if its attached to the screen or dvd-rom..) and the dvd-rom. And also any instructions for installing the navigation step by step and pictures if possible...? So any information on this would be great :), thanks.

I'm surprised your dealer didn't tell you, you should be able to order the setup directly from the dealer and have them install it for you, just as if it were a factory option.

He might have, but i think he also added that it would cost around double like 4k, which is a bit too much. So now i have everything on this car, but the navi (the one specifically for this mazda 3/ rx-8s) was something i really wanted, so now i plan on just finding something hopefully around 1k or less that would do the job. And it doesnt matter even if it were an off brand, so as that it looked like stock and also functioned accordingly..

You could try eBay. Otherwise your stuck with what the dealer would sell you. To be honest, I opted not to get the GPS in my Speed3 GT when I ordered it from the dealer. I felt the 3-4 grand more was a bit of a waste, when I can get a portable GPS for a reasonable amount of money. IMHO :)

Ummm... that ain't. The install isn't actually THAT bad to cost that much extra in labor, you can either order the parts from the dealer and install yourself, or go to another dealership and see what they tell you. But the estimate of 4k seems wayyy high
