I got blinker issues.
 

Hey guys Im hoping you can help me out. My girlfriend has a 06 door 3. The other day she said she has driving and the horn blew for no reason. Today we took it on a little trip I noticed a few things. When she put her RIGHT blinker on the horn blows and the highbeams come on. The more we drove it the worse it got. At first it was just a little beep but by the time we got home we cant use the blinker at all. as soon as you touch the stalk the horn blows and wont stop till I wiggle or hit the stalk. Then when we got home the highbeams would not shut off. We turned the car off and the lights on. I went back to the car and the switch was off but the highbeam indicator was on and could not get the lights to shut off until I grabbed the stalk and shook it. Im going to assume I need to get a blinker switch but how expensive is that and how hard is it to replace? Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Well I pulled the switch out and popped the cover off. Doesn't look like much in there to go wrong. I checked the column and didnt see anything in there either. I looked for anyhting that would cause the blinker to set off the horn but came up with nothing. After putting evrything back together it seems to be ok now. I turned on the blinker and the horn didnt go off. Hopefully this issue is resolved but would still like to know if anyone else has had this problem.
