Hot Tip for Changing the Seroentine Belt on a BL 2.5L
 

Buy this Assenmacher Tool
It's made for a Honda but it works with the BL 2.5 Mazda 4 and means it becomes a 10 minute job you can do from above the engine. No laying on the ground and no removing panels. I suspect the similar Schley tool would also work just as well .

Oops typo in title "seroentine belt" should read ""serpentine belt". Mods please fix.

Note the nut on the Mazda 6 2.5L tensioner is apprently 15mm so this tool only works on the 2.5 litre BL Mazda 3 .

Picked up something similar here in the States. Worth the coin in saved labor, for sure.
