HID question
 

recently just purchased a brand new 2012 Mazda 3 I Grand Touring! its awesome....but one of the first things i want to do with it is upgrade the headlights. i noticed its a bi-xenon headlight. any idea what size bulb it requires?? i looked in the owner's manual but couldn't find it...

Your vehicle is already equipped with HID headlights. However if you want a blue look you will need to purchase a set of D2S bulbs... they are direct plug and play for you (requires no additional ballasts)

D2S is correct. Here's a chart with all the bulbs in your car.

Remember, the higher the Kelvin rating, the more blue or purple the light produced. Anything over 8K and lighting gets worse.
