I thought i will share my little experience of installing my HID, it is a Bosch brand but i think its immitation from China.. I emailed the bosch in germany asking if they are affiliated with boschhid.com, Anways its working fine, plug and play, i just had to cut some spacer behind the bulb so the clip will hold it in place and was able to put the dust cover as well. I am attaching pics, your feedback is welcome, I use a shoe insole as spacer, its easy to cut, i hope it wont melt, i'll check in few days. Another thing, what you think about my Ballast location? Any input is welcome. I have 6000k, 55 watts. 2007 mazda 3 hatch, close to 20k miles, not problems just squeaky breaks in winter. Thanks again!

Did your car have stock HIDs or halogen? I have an 08.5 HB sport and it came with halogens. I bought a 35w HID kit and wasn't too happy with it. I thought it was because it was loose fitting so I bought h7 to D2S adapter, and they fit snug but they still looked dim. I ended up putting my stock bulbs back in. I've been reading around and have found that to make my kit look the way it should, I must retrofit my headlamp assembly with an HID projector. Did you have to do any of this?
