Help Needed -- What else should I replace?
 

I have the intake manifold removed (and throttle body and FI rail -- of necessity) as I am replacing the PCV valve. Nasty job for such a small part. While I have her open on the operating table, what else should I replace/refresh besides the intake manifold and throttle body gaskets? Valve cover gasket is already replaced along with new plugs and throttle body cleaning. Also, what is that pipe that sticks out underneath the intake manifold on the passenger side? It's full of carbon/soot (which I have cleaned out). Should the entire PCV breather box be removed and cleaned as well or not really necessary? Thanks in advance.

PS - can anyone confirm these torque specs?
Intake manifold bolts – ~15 ft-lbs
Fuel rail bolts – ~8 ft-lbs
Throttle body mounting bolts (to intake): ~7 ft-lbs
