Headlight housing questions

I have a mica black 2006 Mazda 3 Hatchback, and I'm in the market for new headlights that don't have the factory chrome rings around the projectors (basically all black not smoked) . Every dang website I go onto has said headlights that I want; however, they all say that they are only for the sedans, yet don't look any different. Is there a physical difference between sedan and hatchback headlight housings?

the headlamps that fit the sedan have what I will call a "support" towards the front grill end of each headlamp assembly, where the front bumper cover has a fastener that attaches to the headlamp housing. I just upgraded my 2009 sedan (Mazda 3i 2.0 engine) to the OEM HID headlamp units (ebay was my friend) and I got headlamps from a 2004 and a 2007 which worked for my sedan. Apparently, the front grill, on Sedans, is attached to the bumper cover (known), where as on the hatchback it is part of the hood assembly...(not known, I have a sedan not a hatchback)

Also for referencing repairs / certain fitment I found that this link is helpful. Came across it on a different forum while working on one of my other rides.

Good luck,
We now sport factory HID / D2S and the night will never be the same...
Cheers!
