Hatchback VS Sedan bumper
 

I have a 2007 Mazda 3 sedan, and i was wondering if a bumper from a hatchback would fit on my sedan? They look like they are identical the way they fit. If any one can please help me out, i would appreciate it!

I don't think they are, though they do look very close in pics on the forum here... There is a different depth cutout to grab the gate / trunk... as this difference is too small for them to have made two designs (financially speaking). My guess is that this 'obvious' change helps the builders identify one part from another.
Why do you ask? if you're looking for a part there should be the same availability, and if there's a junkyard you can probably do a test fit between models to verify what's goin on with the fit.

Im looking for a new bumper, unfortunately i had a fender bender and it kind of destroyed my rear bumper. I found a cheap rear bumper that looks really good, but its only offered for the hatchback.
