Fog Light Assembly

After a hot southern autumn day and a speed bump, I discovered my dealer's dirty little secret with my car; the passenger side fog light fell into the bumper. Imagine my chagrin when I found that the plastic mounting tabs on the fog light assembly to have previously broken off and had been apparently "hot glued" (I'm not kidding, actual hot glue; I haven't ever seen this in a automobile application) back into place. :Kill1:

There's no way I am going to use the same remedy to fix it and I am not paying the 100 dollars the dealer wants for a piece of plastic; they of course deny all knowledge of the part being broken so I am not going to get anything free out of these guys.:inthebum:

This part is so obscure I cannot find a used one; any recommendations for an aftermarket one or OEM one that is for more affordable. This noob to the forum will be most greatful. It is a 4 door 05 btw. Thanks guys!

so is the broken part attached to (or supposed to be attached) the bumper? or does your model have the round insert in the bumper that holds the fog assembly?
Keep an eye out for wrecked 3's, they probably are at a body shop and you may be able to scavenge parts.
Otherwise you can fix it by melting into the plastic that's there back together, like with a soldering iron. It's not as strong, but could work fine depending what's broken...

any pics would help.
