First Startup of the Day Car Feels Like it Wants to Stall for a Second or So
 

Hi all, I am new to the forums and the Mazda 3 world. My girls has a 2007 Mazda 3 with a little over 50k on it. In the morning when she starts up the car, the car for a brief second sounds like it wants to stall. The Rpms go down and then come back up. It just started doing this. Battery is 2 months old the car has regular oil changes.

Also does anyone know where I can get a hold of the service/maintenance chart? We can't find it in the book that came with the car.

having the same issue. took it in for inspection last night and asked them to check it out. I'll post back if they found out the problem.

Got my car back from inspection. It needs a new Mas Air Flow Sensor. Part is $327. gonna have it replaced when i get back from vacation next week but that should fix the issue.

Quikbaud thanks for the reply. How many miles does your car have? My girls has a little over 50k. That a huge chunk of change. I am going to look it up in the book. Have you tried to get it cleaned before completely getting a new one?
