First Car Squeaks... help
 

Hi Everyone,

I just bought my first car, 2005 Mazda 3 GT. These problems began after the first 1000 Kms... I haven't even gotten to my first oil change yet and I have been to the garage three times!

Probs:
- Began in cold weather (Canadian winter :) )
- Squeaks in reverse ... but only first thing in the morning backing out of garage (annoying b/c I can't recreate the problem for the dealer)
- Breaks make tick/pulse sound when I apply the break 1/3 way down
- When I parked outside overnight (cold) the door sensor wouldn't read closed, so the alarm wouldn't turn on.

What the dealer did so far:
- Resurfaced the rotors
- Now they are going to replace them
- Cleaned out the door sensor area (problem seems to be gone... but I haven't parked outside since they 'fixed' the problem)

Could someone please tell me if I should be concerned? Is anyone else having these problems? The dealer says that the squeaking is totally normal with all cars that have sport alloy wheels... this sounds like bull)(*^#)^#)(^#@.

i have a squeaky morning car, it bugs the hell out of me, when im backing out of my driveway it sounds like my brake pads are pleading to be put to sleep.:shift: i have yet to take it to the dealership to get their opinion. i just got the car a month ago. hmph. although i cant complain about that cold canadian weather, i live in sunny orange county california! it can get pretty cold though... its only in the mornings though, we'll see.
