Engine Sound
 

Hi All,

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, or if what I've posted has already been discussed a thousand times before because I'm not actually sure what to search for.

I have a 07 Mazda 3i with a manual transmission and about 65k miles on it. Whenever I start it up after its been sitting for 8+ hours, for the first 15-20 minutes or so it sounds like I'm driving a Subaru, that boxer engine sound. Doesn't matter if its hot or cold out, its always the same.

It doesn't seem to be the same sound as the pulley tensioner or the injectors. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.
