engine noise and rumbling issues!

Hey i was wodnering if anyone ehre could help me out with the noises my 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback is making its a 2.3L auto with 91k miles on it and i changed tranny and engine oil like 1k miles ago but this sound started happening like a month ago.
i also have a kick when gear changed from 1st-2nd, but this problem was before this weird noise came up
the car is salvaged but when i got but only had a shift problem.

Did you put the proper fluid in the transmission and how much fluid did you put in? That can cause shifting issues.

Also check your lower motor mount, it might have debris in it. Usually it causes a vibration going into reverse but I have seen it in drive before.

Well I had the gear shift problem before even replacing the fluids so I doubt it's the cause.
And i did check the motor mount the left driver side mount is completely broken and the passenger side is beginning to tear I already bought the transmission mount and angling to buy the passenger today and perhaps switch em out this wee.
Thank you for the advice!

Ya your mounts can also cause both those issues.... figured it would be good to start with the transmission fluid as you just changed it and we do have many customers come in with that problem.

Shift the vehicle from drive to reverse then pin point what engine mount is causing the issue, you will need a friend for this one.... Really easy to do though!

Best of luck!
