If you wanted to remove the trunk badges you would have to use a hair dryer or a heat gun on them to heat up the adhesive. Then use fish line to get behind it and separate the badge from the body. The hood badge is just held on by clips. After you have them off you can paint them however you like. However, in the picture you provided it does not look like they used paint. It looks like Plasti-Dip or something close to it. With Plasti-Dip you can leave the badges on the car, to your discretion, and tape off the surrounding areas and spray it directly on the car because it can peeled off without damage, that I know of. I used the Plasti-Dip method and blacked out all of my badges. You can find more in depth tutorials on Youtube or through a search engine.

Haha I don't see much of a variety of 3 emblems on eBay, gron. A lot of them are those cheap made-for-eBay products. However, you could probably find a few gems here and there. Thinking of buying an Axela badge myself.
