Did I get a Lemon?
Bought a certified pre-owned from a local dealership 2.5 years ago, and while I love it, I'm starting to worry about the work I've needed to put into it. Bought it for $17K at 28,000 miles, now at 49,000 miles, and so far I've had to put in about $1,500 into repairs.
So far I've had to replace the Power-Steering line, rear shocks and stabilizer links, and the transmission fluid.
They told me the transmission fluid was a bit dirty about two months ago, finally got around to flushing it, and the mechanic said that the transmission fluid reserve was empty, so if he's being honest, that means that all the transmission fluid disappeared from my tank in two months with no sign of a leak. I'll be taking it to my guy to get a second opinion about that soon.
Also just got informed that my #3 motor mount is cracked and in need of repair, so that's another $100-200 there.
Does this sound like a typical maintenance schedule to you all?
